Paradox: Runners are 7 times more likely to die during a workout than while sitting in front of a TV. But of course, heart attack/disease/high blood pressure rates drop precipitously with increases in exercise. Even runners who log over 50 miles a week see half as much high blood pressure as those who run 10 miles a week.
